Job summary
nVent seeks an experienced R&D NPI Engineering Manager to drive on‑time delivery of new product introductions. You will lead a global team of project managers, partner with engineering, product management and manufacturing, and optimize resource allocation across programs.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 10+ years in NPI or PMO leadership, including 2+ years of people leadership. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and matrixed organizations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with PMO practices, tools and processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and inspire a global project management team specializing in NPI program execution.
- Oversee end-to-end execution of projects within scope and budget with high quality outcomes.
- Partner with engineering, product management, supply chain, manufacturing and ops teams to align priorities and timelines.
- Optimize resource planning and allocation across projects to meet changing priorities.
- Collaborate to drive selection and prioritization of NPI projects aligned with strategic goals.
- Own and evolve the NPI phase-gate process and project management tools.
- Define KPIs and lead monthly business reviews with senior leadership.
