Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, is seeking a Senior Manager for Business Development, Requirements, and Capabilities – Modular Open Systems Solutions Encryption. The role focuses on identifying, shaping, and securing new government opportunities with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading pursuit lifecycle, brief DoW leaders, manage proposals, build government relationships, and travel up to 50% to support activities. U.S.

Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Experience with CONOPs, MOSA, and cryptography
• Experience with the lifecycle of the pursuit, order, and capture process
• Experience directly supporting U.S. Government acquisitions

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, development, and capture of new business opportunities within the Modular Open Systems Solutions Encryption portfolio
• Brief senior leaders in the U.S. Department of War (DoW) and other government entities to align on strategic goals and opportunities
• Oversee white paper and proposal development, lead capture teams, and manage the lifecycle of the pursuit, order, and capture process
• Negotiate and close new business opportunities while ensuring alignment with customer and market requirements
• Provide input into product development and strategic planning to address customer needs and market trends
• Build and maintain relationships with U.S. Government and non-Government customers to identify and pursue potential new markets
• Evaluate competitor solutions and assess the company’s positioning against market trends and customer requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program management and engineering, to drive business growth and innovation
• Travel up to 50% may be required to support business development activities and customer engagement
