NRG Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior manager to develop action-oriented insights that increase market share and optimize the customer journey across our brands.

You will create meaningful insights from diverse data sources and partner with CX and market insights leads to surface implications for business decisions. This role requires deep experience in customer experience insights, strong communication, and hands-on analytics using BI tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in customer experience insights or market research role.
• Comfort navigating cross‑functional environments with stakeholders.
• Experience working with a range of data sources (e.g., customer feedback, brand data, consumer market research, behavioral data, pricing).
• Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research and translating customer needs into data-backed requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand and access sources of customer and marketplace data.
• Synthesize market and customer intelligence into data-centered stories.
• Build dashboards, reports, scorecards, and presentations with actionable implications.
• Apply sound research methods and quality standards, ensuring trust-worthy insights.
• Collaborate with CX & Insights team to weave data and narrative insights into outputs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business and research needs.
