Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Revenue Assurance Senior Business Analyst to partner with Retail Operations teams to analyze complex processes, define requirements, identify revenue leakage, and propose sustainable controls. You will translate findings into actionable insights and support governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
• 5+ years of business analysis, process improvement, operations, finance, billing, credit and collections, audit, or revenue assurance experience.
• Experience eliciting and documenting business requirements and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with process mapping, KPI development, testing, and implementation support.
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills.
• 2+ years of utility energy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end business processes to identify revenue leakage and risks.
• Elicit, document, validate, and manage requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate needs into process maps, data requirements, and user stories.
• Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and trend analysis to support decisions.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and KPI definitions for performance.
• Lead discovery sessions and workshops with cross-functional teams.
• Develop test scenarios and support user acceptance testing.
• Monitor improvements and communicate results to leadership.
