Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Manager of Account Operations (SMAO) to lead customer-facing support across the Community, Pharmacy and Health segments. The role focuses on optimizing operations, coaching managers, and delivering high-quality experiences while partnering with senior leaders to drive improvements.

The position supports a hybrid work model with some on-site requirements in Irving, TX and other US locations. Candidates nationwide may be considered with location flexibility.

Qualifications

• 9+ years' account management, sales, support, operations or administration experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred).
• 1+ year of employee management experience.
• Customer-facing; ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and talent development for Support Managers and/or Support Coordinators.
• Lead escalations and complex issue resolution with cross-functional partners.
• Drive strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects from definition to results.
• Oversee process improvements to simplify workflows and enhance customer/seller experiences.
• Use data-driven insights to inform prioritization and communicate updates to senior leaders.
• Monitor SFDC case management, workload, aging, and adherence to workflows.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with contracts and policy changes.
