Job summary

Pinnacle Partners, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Reporting in Indianapolis. You will lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and drive quarterly and annual reporting, including cash flow and lease disclosures, while coordinating with external auditors.

You will oversee ASC 842 lease accounting, review variances in expenses, and guide a three-person corporate accounting team. Emphasis on SOX controls, GAAP updates, and process automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for company entities.
• Lead quarterly and annual financial reporting, including cash flow schedules and lease disclosures.
• Prepare annual stand-alone financial statements for the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Oversee lease accounting, including ASC 842 compliance, lease evaluations, and lease accounting software.
• Review repair, maintenance, CAPEX, and marketing expenses against budget and analyze variances.
• Manage key accounting estimates, including impairment assessments and insurance-related valuations.
• Lead technical accounting research and prepare technical accounting memos.
• Supervise a team of three corporate accounting professionals and oversee accounting operations.
• Ensure SOX internal control compliance, monitor US GAAP updates, and drive process improvements and automation.
