Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting foundation.
• CPA required.
• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience.
• Prior experience managing or mentoring staff.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience required (PeopleSoft preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• High visibility role reporting to Chief Accounting Officer.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial statement consolidation and reporting.
• Support quarterly reporting to parent company.
• Oversee annual financial reporting for franchise disclosures.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors.
• Manage lease accounting under ASC 842.
• Oversee lease accounting systems.
• Partner with operations, marketing, and leadership on accounting matters.
• Review key accounting estimates and reserves.
• Lead technical accounting research and memos.
• Manage and develop a small corporate accounting team.
• Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls effectiveness.
• Drive process improvements and automation efforts.
• Support leadership with ad hoc projects and reporting.
