Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Manager in the Corporate Insurance and Risk Management function to lead risk financing strategy, oversee insurance programs, and coordinate captive insurance activities across the enterprise.

You will partner with business units and insurers, manage claims oversight, and ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies while mentoring teams and driving governance and control excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years relevant experience; managerial experience
• Knowledge and experience in the insurance industry; proven track record with insurers, brokers and specialists
• Experience with design/negotiation of large corporate insurance programs; captive insurance experience
• Effective leadership and team management abilities
• Commitment to Citi’s leadership principles and culture that drives client excellence, controls excellence and operational excellence

Responsibilities

• Support strategic development and execution of risk financing activities including insurance program placement and administration and captive management
• Execute claims management, oversight of third-party administrators, loss engineering and risk control
• Provide insurance support to business units and risk managers for various insurance needs including political and credit insurance placements
• Provide risk management advisory services to business units, approve/monitor insurers and brokers
• Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets
• Drive compliance with laws, policies, and regulatory requirements and foster accountability within the team
