Job summary

Aramark General Manager is sought to plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services for a client typically generating $2-15M+ in revenue, aligning operating and financial goals with client objectives and customer needs.

Role requires leadership and financial acumen, a focus on safety, and the ability to lead a team across diverse services such as food service, facilities support, custodial, retail, lodging, and transportation while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
• Ability to focus on client and customer service, entrepreneurship and growing a business.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, senior management, and support staff.
• Comfortable interpreting contractual requirements and identifying opportunities within contract terms.
• Experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead through other managers.
• Experience creating and managing a department budget, financial controls and analysis.
• Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services while providing hands-on execution management of operations.
• Manages client and community relationships at the location, continually assessing operations and developing plans to provide optimal service and drive satisfaction.
• Builds, develops, and leads a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
• Recommends methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth based on operational needs, capabilities, and contractual obligations.
• Partners with Finance to manage a budget and assist in design of improvements to optimize financial performance and productivity.
• Manages compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and records.
• Ensures compliance with Aramark standards of operation including safety standards and Business Conduct Policy.
