Job summary

WGBA, the NBC affiliate in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking a Senior Manager of Community Connections to be the station's primary link to the community. You will build trusted relationships with civic, nonprofit, business, education and government leaders, translate insights into stronger journalism and impactful partnerships, and lead forums and community events.

You will also oversee audience engagement across channels, ensure timely responses to inquiries, and collaborate with News, Sales,

Qualifications

BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred.
7+ years of progressively responsible experience in community engagement, journalism, nonprofit leadership, communications, public affairs, partnerships or related fields.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders to understand priorities.
Gather, analyze, and communicate community insights to leadership and partners.
Identify story opportunities and support audience engagement across channels.
Represent the station and foster partnerships creating long-term value.
Lead planning and execution of forums, town halls, and public-service initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional community engagement efforts and measure outcomes.
