Job summary

On Location seeks a Planning & Coordination Manager for its Combat Sports team to drive event operations, planning, and cross-functional execution across multiple departments and rights holders. You will manage timelines, budgets, and client-facing deliverables in a fast-paced, global environment.

The role requires leading teams across time zones, building processes, and delivering high-quality hospitality programs. Occasional travel may be required as events occur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Event or Project Management.
• Proven experience in event operations, event product building, project management and tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate project deadlines, milestones and deliverables.
• Measure project health and summarize progress by partner level.
• Identify risks and escalate to executives as needed.
• Coordinate meetings, reporting, and deliverables with Partners and internal teams.
• Prepare status reports by gathering and analyzing information.
• Establish and maintain project communication plans.
• Facilitate change requests and impacts.
• Serve as central hub for team information and support.
• Support strategic growth initiatives from concept to completion.
• Build and train project management systems and tools.
• Drive process improvements across teams and align leaders.
• Establish operational accountability and QA practices.
• Ensure data consistency across systems for accurate reporting.
• Navigate with diverse stakeholders and adapt to learning curves.
