Job summary

NetApp is forming a dedicated CI/CD organization to qualify and sustain our stack for high-assurance partner environments. The Senior Manager will stand up and lead the team, owning the full software qualification and sustaining lifecycle from automation strategy, test design, and verification to troubleshooting and release readiness.

This is a strategic, multi-product function with enterprise commitments. The role covers strategy, hiring, and delivery against enterprise-release and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in software, systems, or infrastructure engineering.
• 5+ years leading engineers and large teams.
• Fluency with Linux/Unix-like systems, distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation.
• Proven experience standing up or scaling CI/CD or test-automation org for complex products.
• Scripting and automation with Python, Go, Ansible, Terraform, Perl, Ruby, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI/CD engineering team, set priorities, staffing, execution cadence and performance expectations.
• Define responsibilities across CTL, Product Engineering, QE, and Production Support.
• Own day-to-day software operations for partner environments including release qualification and patch validation.
• Partner to define testing strategies, release readiness criteria, and engagement models.
• Lead end-to-end software qualification lifecycle: planning, test development, validation, defect management and release evidence.
