Job summary

MTA Bridges and Tunnels is seeking a Senior Manager for the Central Control Unit (Timekeeping/Payroll) at Randall’s Island. You will oversee timekeeping, leave administration, payroll reconciliation, and workforce management for about 1,000 represented and non-represented employees.

The role focuses on payroll controls, data analytics, and system modernization, with leadership of CCU staff and cross-functional collaboration. Telework is available one day per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of payroll, timekeeping, or workforce management experience.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar HRIS.
• Advanced knowledge of Kronos or similar timekeeping system.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized timekeeping, time and leave administration, payroll reconciliation, and workforce management for ~1,000 employees.
• Ensure accurate application of collective bargaining agreements and policies.
• Oversee payroll processing, reconciliations, and special transactions.
