Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in Payroll/Timekeeping including processing, auditing, analysis and reporting.
• Minimum 2 years in managing and monitoring employees.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of payroll rules and CBAs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily staff for timekeeping and payroll processing and inquiries.
• Oversee weekly time and leave processing for all LIRR employees.
• Lead initiatives to design and implement payroll/timekeeping improvements.
• Coordinate with IT and vendors to maintain Kronos and related systems.
• Ensure internal controls and year-end payroll tasks and reporting.
