Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is seeking a Senior Manager, Timekeeping/Payroll for the Long Island Rail Road. You will oversee day-to-day staff management and payroll processing to ensure accurate timekeeping and pay for all LIRR employees.

You will lead payroll unit managers, collaborate with IT and external agencies, and maintain Kronos systems. A BA/BS and 6+ years of payroll/timekeeping experience, plus 2+ years in supervision, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in finance/business fields.
• Experience in payroll/timekeeping, auditing, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Select, develop, and motivate staff; provide coaching and career development.
• Manage weekly timekeeping and leave processing for all LIRR employees.
