CVS Media Exchange is hiring a Senior Manager, Optimization and Performance – Sponsored Product . This role will report to the Lead Director, Optimization and Performance.
CVS Media Exchange [CMX] is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full-funnel ad solutions leverage CVS’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with CVS consumers, and convert CVS consumers to shoppers.
The Senior Manager, O ptimization and Performance – Sponsored Product is responsible for performance and optimization of CMX paid search campaigns through our owned and operated p roperties . T his individual will run the day-to-day operations of campaign management and optimization for paid search on CVS.com display and app , ensuring the highest level of pe rformance . The ideal candidate is an innovat ive thinker with expert level knowledge in all things paid search with the ability t o flex between hand-on-keyboard work to strategy development.
Responsibilities :
Manage , run , and perform hands-on-keyboard activation for all CMX sold Sponsored Product Campaigns on CVS.com /App .
Architect operational workflows & playbooks for Sponsored Products campaign performance ; including SLAs & best practices
Surface overarching learnings to strengthen/enhance our Sponsored Products playbook .
Collaborate with client solutions, product, and analytics teams to deliver on key client needs .
Ensure CMX campaigns are meeting their goals by managing campaign pacin g , performance , and margin through continuous optimization .
Develop best practices and seek to continuously improve workflows to support all aspects of campaign activation and execution .
Serve as our expert in troubleshooting campaign performance issues with CMX Sponsored Product Ad Technology Platforms
Manage issues related to campaign troubleshooting, campaign delivery , and campai gn performance.
Participate in testing initiatives for new ad products and feature enhancements
Keep up-to-date with industry changes, case studies and regulatory impacts
Collaborate with CMX teams t o determi ne th e optim al media mix solutions
Analyze and understand inventory levers and patterns
Location :
This role is hybrid and commutable to one of the following Corporate Hubs, which you must work in the office of 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday): Boston or Wellesley, MA, Woonsocket, RI, New York, NY, Blue Bell, PA, or Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications :
7+ years of experience in media/advertising
5+ years managing paid search/performance campaig ns, wit h a st rong track record of successful campaign management.
2+ years of team management experience
Preferred Qualifications :
Retail media and/or B2B experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of keyword bidding strategies, budget cap management and optimization tactics
Demonstrated professional maturity with strong interpersonal skills in interacting with internal/external senior leaders
Strong managerial experience, including experience hiring, developing, and mentoring a team
Experience working in, and ability to thrive in, a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented; possessing critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfort with reporting and using data sets for deeper analysis.
Expert problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Education :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (HS Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience) required.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $199,144.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
