Tampa Electric Company is seeking a Coord Emergency Management to lead emergency planning, training, and incident activation efforts in Florida. You will coordinate logistics, manage resources, and engage with government and industry partners to ensure readiness and continuity during emergencies.

The role requires relevant EMS/EM experience, a bachelor’s degree, and certification within 4 years, with preferred ICS and weather tools knowledge and Power BI reporting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field from an accredited college/university.
• 5 years of experience in emergency management, incident coordination, or related fields.
• 3 years in Emergency Management / Emergency Response or EM/Business Continuity combo.
• Must acquire FAEM or AEM certification within 4 years; professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain all-hazards emergency plans, SOPs, and training materials.
• Lead emergency activations and coordinate incident response across ICS sections.
• Manage inventory, resources, and vendor contracts for emergency services.
• Coordinate training, drills, and SME participation; promote NIMS/ICS compliance.
• Produce dashboards and briefings for leadership; monitor budgets related to emergencies.
