Tampa Electric, a TECO Energy company, seeks a senior regulatory affairs leader to guide cost-recovery filings and policy positions. You will lead cross-functional teams, prepare testimony, and advocate corporate regulatory positions before FPSC and FERC.

The role requires a decade of utility regulatory experience, plus strong leadership and Excel/PowerPoint skills. Join a team shaping Florida’s energy future with a focus on prudent regulation and customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related field from an accredited college/university.
• 10 years utility regulatory experience, including critical negotiations and high impact initiatives.
• 5 years of leadership managing a team.
• Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other PC-based software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee TEC cost recovery filings and related regulatory activities with FPSC and others.
• Serve as TEC expert witness before regulatory agencies during hearings and workshops.
• Develop testimony and supporting analyses for FPSC and FERC matters.
• Coordinate with Energy Supply, Electric Delivery, Customer Care and other departments.
• Monitor FPSC filings and regulatory developments and brief leadership.
