Job summary

ALU seeks a Manager, Business Performance & Analysis to assemble and interpret campus and program data, translating it into actionable insights for senior leadership. You will lead economic analysis, provide decision-ready outputs, and build external benchmarks to inform institutional strategy.

The role requires turning fragmented information into a coherent view, identifying what matters, and presenting it to the right decision-maker in an easily usable format.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant professional experience producing analysis that informs decisions.
• Degree in economics or experience in consulting, policy research, finance or quantitative discipline.
• Ability to turn complex analysis into concise executive communication.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and workflows.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve analytical productivity.

Responsibilities

• Produce quantitative and economic analysis underpinning materials for the Executive Committee and Board.
• Consolidate inputs from multiple functions into a defensible, single view with clear assumptions.
• Clarify questions and propose more useful analytical questions when needed.
• Maintain external evidence including benchmarks and precedent relevant to decisions.
• Design outputs for decision-making: briefs, dashboards, or presentations.
