UL Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to bridge business needs with data-driven solutions in a dynamic environment in the United States. You will lead discovery, shape analytic plans, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for executives and stakeholders.

You will own end-to-end analytics, model evaluation, and adoption, collaborating with data engineering, product, and platform teams to drive measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field or equivalent.
• 7–10+ years in data science or analytics.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence decisions.
• Lead discovery, gather requirements, define outcomes, and translate needs into analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Lead discovery sessions to frame challenges and identify value.
• Translate needs into problem statements, success measures, requirements, and plans.
• Challenge requests that miss the business problem and propose better approaches.
• Align scope, priorities, assumptions, and risks with stakeholders.
