Job summary

Bernalillo County seeks a Clinical Services Senior Manager to lead behavioral health programs and ensure high-quality service delivery. You will supervise licensed clinicians, oversee budgeting, and drive regulatory compliance aligned with County goals.

The role includes grant writing, policy development, and implementation of trauma-informed care, with opportunities for remote or flexible work as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Eight years of clinical experience in counseling individuals/families.
• Four years in a managerial role with budget oversight.
• Current NM behavioral health license (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC/PhD).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate behavioral health programs.
• Supervise licensed clinical and administrative staff.
• Oversee program operations, budgeting, and quality improvement.
• Develop policies to support trauma-informed care.
• Prepare grant proposals and manage countywide grants.
• Oversee emergency operations planning and response.
