Job summary

The County of Ventura seeks a Behavioral Health Manager to provide operational and clinical oversight of a multidisciplinary team offering behavioral health services. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, extensive experience in treatment practices, and leadership capabilities.

We prioritize diversity and invite applications from professionals with a valid California license and supervisory experience in a clinical setting. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in behavioral health assessment, treatment, and case management practices.
• Proven history of leadership in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and programmatic oversight of treatment team members.
• Maintain a clinical caseload in compliance with state-mandated requirements.
• Select, train, and supervise multidisciplinary staff.
• Evaluate employee performance and take disciplinary actions as needed.
