Job summary

Anthro is seeking a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to lead the manufacturing engineering function behind its advanced battery technologies. You will own equipment, tooling, and production processes, grow the team, and drive lines from pilot to commercial scale.

You will manage a team of manufacturing and process engineers, partner with R&D and suppliers, and industrialize processes from Alameda to a planned Kentucky facility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a manufacturing or process engineering role, preferably in battery/chemicals.
• 3+ years leading or managing an engineering team.
• Hands‑on experience with Li‑ion unit processes and production equipment.
• Experience building and ramping Li‑battery lines with vendors and automation partners.
• Proven track record of improving yield, cycle time, and scrap with data tools.
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.
• Adaptive, hands‑on leader who can drive multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team delivering scale‑up initiatives.
• Own equipment, tooling design for electrolyte production and cell manufacturing.
• Stand up TPM and PM programs, optimize uptime and first‑pass quality.
• Drive process and equipment optimization to hit yield and throughput targets.
• Lead industrialization and tech transfer to commercial lines and SOPs.
• Oversee FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D, vendors, and partners to Industrialize processes.
