Job summary

Anthro Energy seeks a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to lead the manufacturing engineering function for its advanced battery technologies. You will own equipment, tooling, production processes, and the team behind them, advancing lines from bench to pilot to commercial scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing or process engineering, battery/chemicals industry
• 3+ years leading an engineering team
• Hands-on Li-ion unit processes and production equipment knowledge
• Experience building and ramping Li-battery lines; manage vendors/automation partners
• Experience with FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ and commissioning; process safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing and process engineers delivering scale-up initiatives
• Own the manufacturing process, equipment, and tooling design from pilot through commercial scale
• Drive maintenance programs (TPM, CMMS) and ensure uptime, OEE, and first-time quality
• Optimize core cell finishing steps (electrolyte filling, formation) to improve yield and reduce cycle time
• Lead industrialization and tech transfer of electrolyte to commercial lines, ensuring SOPs and batch records
• Lead process safety reviews (HAZOP) and ensure compliance with safety/regulatory standards
• Report progress to leadership and stakeholders
