Job summary

Magna Powertrain Ramos is seeking a Sr. Manager of Supplier Quality Development to lead the Ramos/Troy SQD team and drive continuous improvement across the supplier base.

You will ensure compliance with IATF and APQP, partner with internal customers and suppliers, and manage budgets and resources. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 15 years QA experience, and strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; MBA/MS preferred.
• Self-starter and team player who thrives in entrepreneurial environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication; capable of facilitating teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships with suppliers' leadership and internal leaders to improve supplier capability.
• Create and deploy a continuous supplier improvement strategy.
• Lead APQP activities and ensure high-quality launches with suppliers.
• Identify and resolve early-stage supplier quality problems.
• Oversee supplier quality data, budgets and resources for the team.
• Drive risk reduction and corrective actions with suppliers.
