Job summary

Magna Powertrain in Indiana is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality department, ensuring product standards align with customer requirements and internal specs. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise quality activities for new and existing automotive powertrain technologies, driving continuous improvement and DFMEA/PFMEA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with six years of quality experience.
• Extensive knowledge of PFMEA, FMEA, and design of experiments.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills.
• Experience in a mass production automotive environment preferred.
• Good knowledge of TS16949 or IATF 16949 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Directs the quality department to ensure product standards.
• Develops and analyzes data to set reliability expectations.
• Maintains QC objectives and coordinates with production.
• Plans training related to product quality and reliability.
• Investigates and resolves customer quality complaints.
