Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical) preferred.
• Self-motivated with strong communication and improvement skills.
• 3–10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Development.
• 6–10 years in aluminum castings, iron castings, forgings, electronics, stampings, PM, fasteners, or molding is a plus.
• 2–4 years of plant operations experience.
• Metallurgical/metals background beneficial.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of VSM, TAKT time, OEE, maintenance KPIs, plant layout, and material flow.
• Familiarity with IATF and customer-specific requirements (VDA 6.3/6.5, BIQS, ANPQP).

Responsibilities

• Audit suppliers: capability, run-at-rate, control plan audits and take action.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions.
• Identify supplier improvements and ensure KMIs are addressed.
• Support supplier initiated changes and containment reviews (8D).
• Assist manufacturing with supplier-related issues and launches.
• Monitor OEE achievement and FTQ targets with suppliers.
• Validate staffing, tools, and equipment at supplier sites.
• Ensure Magna requirements and IATF 16949 compliance.
• Drive new technologies to improve quality, efficiency and cost.
