Job summary

Astera Labs is seeking a Manager, ATE Test Engineering to lead our test organization in San Jose, CA, guiding high-speed, high-performance products from silicon bring-up to high-volume manufacturing. The role shapes test strategy and collaborates with design, DFT, product engineering, operations, and manufacturing to enable scalable ATE solutions.

You will build and mentor the team, drive improvements in coverage, quality, cost, and test time, and ensure readiness for production across wafer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of ATE Test engineers owning a diverse portfolio of connectivity products for AI infrastructure.
• Establish scalable processes, BKMs, and operational excellence frameworks as the organization grows.
• Make sound technical and organizational decisions in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Define end-to-end ATE test strategies and plans from design engagement through high-volume production.
