Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in construction management or related field.
• 7-10 years of progressive asphalt production/paving/ heavy civil construction experience preferred.
• 3-5 years in supervisory or management roles leading multiple crews and ops teams.
• Strong understanding of asphalt plant operations, paving processes, quality control, and construction best practices.
• Experience managing budgets, equipment fleets, schedules, and project performance.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze operational data and make informed business decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for asphalt production and paving operations.
• Develop and execute plans to meet safety, production, quality, and financial goals.
• Oversee plant operations, crews, equipment utilization, and maintenance programs.
• Manage project execution to meet schedules and budgets.
• Lead workforce planning, staffing, training, and performance management.
• Foster safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with estimating, sales, project management, QC, and maintenance teams to optimize operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage budgets, equipment investments, and production costs.
• Review production reports and project costs for profitability.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and public agencies.
• Support bidding, planning, and procurement for future projects.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues impacting performance.
