Job summary

BrixPavingNorthwest, Inc. seeks an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to lead and supervise crews delivering quality asphalt pavement projects in Idaho.

You will oversee daily operations, coordinate crews and equipment, complete job logs, and ensure safety compliance on all sites. Based in Boise, ID, this full-time role requires 3+ years paving experience, a valid driver's license (Class A CDL preferred), and the ability to travel to Idaho worksites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years asphalt paving experience
• Valid driver's license required
• Class A CDL with a clean driving record (preferred)
• Proficiency in construction/paving standards and equipment operation (rollers, screeds, excavators)
• Proficient in grading and ADA requirements
• Leadership skills and team-building experience
• Proficient in math and measurements

Responsibilities

• Direct crew on daily tasks and ensure equipment is dispatched accordingly
• Coordinate with material suppliers for daily mix allocations
• Supervise and cross-train individuals
• Adapt and work in various conditions and understand jurisdiction requirements
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of field equipment
• Operate equipment proficiently with situational awareness
• Willingness to collaborate and communicate with others
• Complete job logs and daily submittal of crew timecards
• Lead crews with emphasis on safety and quality
• Recognize inefficiencies and address them in the field
• Work weekends and occasional nights
• Travel to various worksites with possible overnight accommodations
• Work long hours in all weather conditions
• Ensure each job is carried out with OSHA and company safety standards
