HK Contractors, a CRH company, is seeking a Manager of Asphalt Operations in Idaho Falls to lead asphalt plants and paving crews. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and on-budget project completion across regional operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of asphalt production, mix designs, and DOT standards, plus experience in leadership and maintenance planning to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
5+ years in asphalt plant operations, paving, or construction materials.
2+ years in leadership or supervisory roles.
Strong knowledge of asphalt production, mix designs, and paving practices.
Familiarity with MSHA/OSHA safety regulations and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily asphalt plant operations and paving crews.
Plan and execute production schedules to meet timelines and demand.
Monitor plant performance, equipment utilization, and efficiency.
Coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Lead, coach, and develop operators and supervisors.
