We are seeking a Senior Manager, Applied Science to lead the aiR agentic harness expansion and to ensure reliable, defensible AI in production, partnering with product, engineering, design, and customers.

Qualifications

• A master's or PhD in computer science or a quantitative discipline, with at least 6 years in applied AI/ML.
• Experience leading a team of applied scientists.
• Fluency with modern generative AI and deployment in production environments.
• Strong software engineering judgment and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of applied scientists: hire, coach, set direction, and develop people toward their best work.
• Set the technical and scientific bar. Shape architectures, review designs and evaluations, and work closely with the team to lead by example.
• Own AI system readiness end-to-end, from problem framing through evaluation, error analysis, efficacy studies, and production monitoring.
• Choose the right problems and decide where to invest, ranging from agentic assistants to large-scale review and analysis across documents.
• Partner with product, engineering, design, and legal experts to take ideas from proof-of-concept to production at scale.
