Job summary

Wesco is seeking a technically minded, relationship-driven Senior Manager - Business Development to drive growth across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana in our Advanced Metering Infrastructure and Grid Automation lines.

The role focuses on researching, analyzing, and developing new business opportunities in alignment with sales and financial goals, creating robust plans to expand product lines, enter new markets, and improve customer satisfaction while managing a team of BD professionals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience directly related to the position.
• 8+ years of financial analysis, sales, and negotiation.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to initiate and develop relationships with key decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and development of new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement account business development activities.
• Oversee acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures.
• Establish annual goals for business development and coordinate with sales.
• Forecast performance and report to Finance and management.
• Travel 50% - 75% as required.
