Job summary

EDMI America Inc. is seeking a seasoned business development and sales leader to grow opportunities with electricity cooperatives and municipal utilities across the US.

You will manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification to contract award, and collaborate with product management and bid teams to win significant AMI 2.0 meter refresh projects. The role requires 8+ years in business development or account management, a track record of winning new business, strong Salesforce experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Energy or related field.
• Experience selling complex products to utilities or energy sectors.
• Strong CRM and structured consultative selling knowledge.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the US territory.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM required.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer strategies, plans and targets for revenue and growth.
• Directly manage electric cooperatives and municipal accounts at senior level.
• Communicate value propositions through proposals and presentations.
• Participate in development of new solutions and proposals.
• Participate in conferences and exhibitions.
• Build relationships with retailers and partner organizations.
• Identify and report on opportunities in markets.
• Manage sales pipeline in SF.com and forecast contracts.
• Support marketing collateral and exhibitions.
• Update the company on marketing trends to adapt solutions.
• Gather market intelligence and maintain a master customer database.
• Maintain a master customer contact database.
