Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking an experienced Senior Manager for Management Company Accounting to lead accounting and financial reporting for our Management Company entities. The role demands strong US GAAP knowledge, client-focused service, and the ability to guide cross-entity accounting teams in a hybrid work environment.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5+ years in alternative investments, CPA/ACA/ACCA preferred, and strong Excel/ERP skills (Sage/NetSuite).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Five+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience in the alternative investment industry.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• CPA/ACA/ACCA preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Excel; QuickBooks; ERP systems such as Sage or NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial reporting for Management Company entities, including financial statements, management accounts and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee chart of accounts, accounts payable/receivable, and expense allocations including travel and entertainment.
• Lead monthly close cycle, ensure compliance with accounting standards and coordinate with client finance teams.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors and other stakeholders while reconciling cash flows and preparing ad-hoc reports.
• Contribute to developing financial controls and streamline processes for timely and accurate reporting.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
