Job summary

Vanta is seeking a Senior Manager, AI Corporate Engineering to lead a senior team responsible for the platform and governance of internal AI tooling across the company. You will define charter, ownership, and enablement for AI across engineering, security, and finance functions.

You will drive end-to-end ownership of the AI access layer, cost attribution, and platform lifecycle, partnering with multiple departments to ensure safe, scalable, and cost-effective AI adoption.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or systems engineering.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience building internal AI or developer platforms.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a senior team spanning platform engineering and technical program management.
• Own the AI access layer end to end: identity and authentication for AI tools, allowlisting, and guardrails.
• Own AI cost engineering with attribution down to team and individual level.
• Own the MCP layer for internal tools end to end, including governance and migration impact assessment.
• Own the paved path for internal applications with golden-path deployment and decommissioning policies.
• Build the enablement layer enabling safe self-serve usage of AI tools.
• Write and hold the charter defining ownership and enablement boundaries.
• Partner across Engineering, GRC, Security, Data, Finance, and People to coordinate AI efforts.
