Vanta is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on reporting and data infrastructure. You will hire, coach, and scale the team while shaping technology and product strategy with cross-functional partners.

You will drive multi-quarter roadmaps, guide architecture, and balance near-term impact with long-term platform investments, including AI-powered insights. This role offers equity and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a full-time engineering management role.
• Managed 8–12 engineers.
• Led product engineering teams building reporting/data visualization.
• Strong technical depth in data infrastructure and architecture.
• Delivered across multiple workstreams with quality and velocity.
• Set product and technical strategy with Product and Design.
• Led engineering-wide initiatives.
• Strong decision maker balancing ambiguity, data, speed, and quality.
• Excellent cross-functional communicator and storyteller.
• Open to using AI to improve efficiency and impact.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a high-performing team by hiring, coaching, and developing engineers.
• Drive cross-quarter roadmap execution spanning reporting infrastructure and data foundations.
• Partner with Product and Design to define long-term vision and architecture.
• Lead through ambiguity and rapid growth while balancing customer impact and platform investments.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Platform, and business stakeholders on reporting strategy.
