Vanta is seeking a Senior Manager, Systems Engineering to lead a team of systems engineers and own high-priority platform initiatives within Corporate Engineering. You will set technical direction, establish ownership, and build the leadership layer beneath them to create a scalable, secure internal platforms function.

You will shepherd identity, endpoint, ITSM, and procurement workstreams, partnering with Security, GRC, Finance, and Engineering to enable—rather than gate—self-service with

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT or systems engineering
• 3+ years managing engineers
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of systems engineers and a tech lead.
• Own joiner/mover/leaver automation end to end in Okta Workflows.
• Build and own device assurance across macOS and Windows.
• Rationalize ITSM estate to improve self-service and reduce tool admin workload.
• Make Corporate Engineering a governed step in SaaS procurement with proper guardrails.
• Own identity, access, and connector infrastructure for AI stack and platforms.
• Build visibility into work intake and capacity for data-driven prioritization.
• Collaborate with Security, GRC, Finance, and Engineering to enable self-service safely.
