Job summary

Vanta is seeking a Senior Manager, Systems Engineering to lead a team of experienced engineers and own high-priority platform initiatives. You will shape access, device, and ITSM infrastructure, aligning with AI tooling and corporate security goals.

The role requires coordinating with Security, Finance, and Engineering to enable self-service while maintaining governance and policy adherence. A track record of scaling teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading and scaling engineering teams.
• Hands-on fluency with enterprise AI tooling and automation.
• Experience with identity, access management, and device management.
• Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and procurement processes.
• Ability to influence across security, finance, and engineering partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of systems engineers and a tech lead.
• Own joiner, mover, and leaver automation end to end in Okta Workflows.
• Build and own device assurance across macOS and Windows.
• Rationalize the ITSM estate to enable self-service and platform work.
• Make Corporate Engineering a governed step in SaaS procurement with SSO enforcement.
• Own identity, access, and connector infrastructure behind Vanta's AI stack.
• Develop visibility into work intake and capacity to inform prioritization.
• Collaborate with Security, GRC, Finance, and Engineering to enable rather than gate.
