Job summary

Safe-Guard Products International is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering for our Self-Service Claims Platform. You will lead a team building on Angular/Node.js and Java Spring Boot, drive AI-first features, and align engineering with business goals.

Reporting to the Head of Software Engineering, you’ll own platform health, delivery reliability, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Compliance, and Legal to ensure regulatory adherence while delivering a superior

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a people-management or leadership role.
• Experience owning a customer-facing platform and planning a future greenfield rebuild.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to executives and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the self-service claims platform team, fostering ownership and continuous learning.
• Drive AI-first development and integrate AI tooling into daily workflows.
• Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and Legal to meet regulatory requirements.
