Job summary

Safe-Guard Products International is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a distributed full-stack team of 10+ engineers across onshore and offshore locations, owning the Contract Cancellations and Claims Payments platforms, including both internal and external-facing applications.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership, strong full-stack experience, and a track record of using GenAI tools to accelerate the development lifecycle, with the ability to manage onshore/offshore

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in an engineering management or team lead role.
• Experience leading distributed teams (onshore/offshore).
• Strong hands-on experience across full-stack including microservices and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud-native deployment.
• Hands-on GenAI in the software development lifecycle (AI-assisted coding, automated testing, documentation).
• Experience with payment processing or transaction-heavy systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed, full-stack engineering team of 10+ engineers (onshore and offshore).
• Own end-to-end delivery, reliability, and evolution of Contract Cancellations and Claims Payments apps, internal and external-facing.
• Partner with Finance, Claims Operations, and Product to translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Oversee full-stack apps built on microservices and modern frontend frameworks with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Champion GenAI tools to accelerate development, automated testing, and documentation.
• Drive CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, and observability practices.
