Job summary

EY is seeking a Development Senior Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of AI-enabled products for the Americas Tax practice. You will guide cross-functional teams across onshore, offshore, and hybrid models while aligning with architecture, security, and governance standards.

The role emphasizes people leadership, technical depth, and responsible AI, with a focus on delivering secure, scalable solutions and maintaining high availability in a complex, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience.
• 6+ years leading development teams using Agile/Lean practices.
• Experience delivering solutions using Microsoft .NET and modern UI technologies.
• Experience building cloud-native solutions (Microsoft Azure preferred).
• Exposure to generative AI initiatives (product features, developer productivity, analytics, or automation).
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering.
• Exposure to project and portfolio management.
• Tax domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners to design, plan, build, operate, and improve AI‑augmented products.
• Own delivery outcomes including quality, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead development teams to deliver secure, scalable, cloud‑native solutions with automation and AI where valued.
• Ensure products meet 24x7 operational expectations and incident response leadership.
• Drive the responsible adoption of generative AI and advanced analytics in development, testing, and support.
