Job summary

EY's Americas Tax Technology Group is seeking a Development Senior Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of AI-enabled products for tax professionals. You will blend people leadership with deep technical depth to ensure fast, high-quality, and trusted solutions that align with security and governance standards.

You will partner with Product Owners, drive architecture and platform consistency, and coach on Agile/Lean practices while managing onshore, offshore, and hybrid teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience.
• 6+ years leading development teams using Agile/Lean practices.
• Design and deliver modern engineering solutions using Microsoft technology stack and AI technologies.
• Experience managing vendors and service providers.
• Strong executive presence and comfortable presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners to design, plan, build, operate, and improve AI-enabled products.
• Own delivery outcomes including quality, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead teams to deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions with automation and AI.
• Ensure 24x7 operations and lead urgent response for production issues.
• Drive responsible adoption of generative AI and AI governance.
