Job summary

Wayfair’s Paid Search + AI surfaces team seeks a data-driven Senior Manager to lead the SEM, PLA, and AI surfaces initiatives from Boston HQ. You will guide a high-performing analytics team, own the roadmap, and partner with Google, OpenAI, and Microsoft to optimize campaigns and revenue across multiple formats.

You will drive cross-functional growth, refine product feeds, and implement test-and-learn practices to scale innovative search experiences while delivering strong ROAS.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in quantitative/analytical roles with large SEM/PLA programs
• 3+ years of leadership, building durable operating routines
• Ability to own senior cross-functional roadmaps and influence without direct authority
• Hands-on with modern AI tooling to accelerate analysis (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex)
• Strong SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or R) for large-scale data analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of analysts to manage SEM and PLA channels, drive measurable results, and report to marketing leadership
• Spearhead AI surfaces strategy, test formats, and scale high-potential opportunities
• Optimize product feeds and PLA structures to maximize impression share and ROAS
• Lead cross-functional growth strategies using search and AI surfaces across domains and partnerships
• Cultivate relationships with vendor partners including Google and Microsoft around AI/Shopping roadmaps
• Monitor campaign performance daily and perform root-cause analysis for deviations
• Institute strategic planning, roadmapping, and test-and-learn methodologies to hit goals
