Job summary

Pega is seeking a Senior Manager of Digital Content, Search & Performance to steer content strategy, SEO, AEO, and AI-enabled optimization across its digital ecosystem. You will lead a team of content strategists, SEO specialists, and performance professionals to boost discoverability, engagement, and measurable business outcomes.

The role demands strategic thinking, strong analytics, and collaboration with marketing, UX, and product teams to turn content into tangible value.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in digital content strategy, SEO, digital marketing, customer engagement, or related disciplines.
3+ years of experience leading teams and managing individual contributors.
Proven success developing content strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
Deep understanding of SEO/AEO, content marketing, information architecture, search behavior, and digital engagement best practices.
Experience developing strategies for AI-powered search, answer engines, generative AI experiences.
Strong analytical and performance optimization skills with data-driven decisions.
Experience collaborating with content creators, marketers, UX professionals, developers, and analytics teams.
Familiarity with web technologies, CMS, structured content models, HTML concepts, schema markup, analytics platforms, and search technologies.
Experience implementing AI-enabled workflows, content automation, prompt engineering, or modern digital productivity tools.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
Proven ability to influence outcomes and drive alignment across complex organizations.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve content strategy for Pega.com and related digital experiences.
Develop scalable content frameworks that align messaging and customer journeys across industries and campaigns.
Establish content governance standards to improve consistency, quality, and efficiency.
Partner with Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, Brand, Campaign teams, and Digital Experience leaders.
Drive customer-centric content planning to help visitors discover relevant information and understand Pega's value.
Promote modern content operations practices that improve speed, quality, and scalability.
Own enterprise SEO and AI optimization strategy and ensure discoverability across engines and AI platforms.
Collaborate with Web Strategy, UX, Publishing, and Development teams to embed discoverability from the start.
Monitor trends and opportunities in search behaviors to identify risks and opportunities.
Lead experimentation with emerging technologies and AI-driven approaches for long-term success.
Establish KPIs and reporting linking content and search performance to business outcomes.
