Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting to lead core accounting operations within a large healthcare organization. This remote role emphasizes accurate general ledger, month-end close discipline, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration on policy and audits.

You will partner with leadership to drive process improvements, ensure robust financial reporting, and mentor accounting team members while coordinating with external advisors as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
• CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger activities and month-end close processes.
• Provide technical accounting support and assist with complex accounting determinations.
• Support compliance and preparation of accurate financial reporting and internal controls.
• Identify and execute process improvement opportunities in accounting operations.
• Partner with external advisors to support audits, tax filings, and compliance needs.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will oversee core accounting operations and support the integrity of financial reporting across a complex healthcare organization. The position is responsible for driving accuracy in the general ledger, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring a disciplined month-end close process. It also offers the opportunity to partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on accounting policy, audits, and process improvement.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $130,000 – $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger activities and month-end close processes
• Provide technical accounting support and assist with complex accounting determinations
• Support compliance and preparation of accurate financial reporting and internal controls
• Identify and execute process improvement opportunities in accounting operations
• Partner with external advisors to support audits, tax filings, and compliance needs
• Coordinate with management and cross-functional teams to enhance accounting policy compliance
• Standardize accounting procedures while coaching and developing team members

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
• CPA or equivalent strongly preferred
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable large ERP systems
• Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls
• Experience with multi-entity and international consolidations preferred
• Advanced Excel skills required; familiarity with financial reporting tools preferred
