Ladders is seeking a Manager Accounting - Financial Reporting to lead external and internal financial reporting with a strong emphasis on U.S. GAAP compliance and technical accounting research.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience, including public accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA certification.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to develop implementation processes.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring team members in technical accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and prioritize multiple workstreams.
• Familiarity with NetSuite accounting systems preferred.
• Workiva wDesk experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a health care organization preferred.
• Experience with private equity reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements for compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Oversee monthly and quarterly trend analyses
• Research and document complex transactions as a technical accounting expert
• Implement and monitor new accounting pronouncements
• Coordinate with external auditors for timely audit completion
• Maintain chart of accounts and division structure in NetSuite
• Assist in developing internal controls over financial reporting
• Contribute to process improvement projects and tool implementations
• Support the growth of Financial Reporting team members

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Manager Accounting - Financial Reporting to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will oversee external and internal financial reporting activities with a strong focus on U.S. GAAP compliance, technical accounting research, and audit readiness. The manager will also partner closely with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting accuracy, strengthen controls, and improve processes in a remote-first environment. In addition, this position will help guide team development while contributing to the organization’s broader accounting and reporting objectives.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $125,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities
