The role requires 7+ years in product quality or related engineering, early leadership, DFMEA mastery, safety and regulatory know-how, and strong analytical/communication skills to drive cross-functional improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product quality, development, or related engineering roles, ideally in consumer electronics or home appliances.
• Early people leadership experience and readiness for formal team leadership at scale.
• Strong DFMEA expertise with the ability to lead and improve across multiple programs.
• Solid knowledge of safety testing, regulatory standards, and certification processes (US/EU/UK).
• Analytical mindset, able to build predictive models and translate IHUT data into actions.
• Clear, evidence-based communicator capable of challenging peers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the 5-star quality standard across assigned NPD programs and escalate early when off track.
• Lead quality inputs into build reviews with actionable, consumer-focused improvements.
• Act as a quality coach to Engineering and Product Development, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
• Lead and develop a small team of NPD quality professionals and manage workload across programs.
• Plan EB0 build reviews and Pre-MP VEGA Hacks to surface and resolve issues before mass production.
• Build predictive models to forecast in-market rating performance and drive recommendations.
• Oversee Testing, Safety, Regulatory, and Certification plans across programs and resolve blockers.
• Own DFMEAs ahead of TRA, ensuring real-world use is reflected and tracked to closure.
