Job summary

Brown University Health’s Outpatient Imaging Center seeks a Mammography Technologist Lead to perform a wide range of mammographic duties and mentor technologists. You will apply radiologic techniques, ensure ALARA safety, and guide QA/QC processes to meet MQSA/ACR standards.

The role involves coordinating mammography, radiography, and bone densitometry workflows, with a patient-centered approach and strong communication skills, in Providence, RI.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Rhode Island license and ARRT certification in radiography.
• Advanced certification in Mammography (ARRT) preferred.
• Minimum two years Mammography experience; lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams and procedures with proper positioning.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort following ALARA guidelines.
• Lead daily operations and coordinate staff performance.
• Maintain MQSA/ACR QA/QC procedures and document QA records.
• Schedule patients and ensure accurate radiology documentation.
