Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist Lead to perform routine and complex mammographic procedures, including localization, in an outpatient imaging setting. The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and 2+ years of mammography experience.

Lead duties include training staff, scheduling, and QA/QC oversight. In addition to clinical duties, the position emphasizes ALARA safety, patient comfort, and adherence to MQSA and ACR guidelines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent is required.
• Current Rhode Island license to practice radiologic technology and ARRT certification required.
• Advance ARRT Mammography certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams and procedures with proper positioning to achieve diagnostic-quality images.
• Provide on-the-job instruction and lead clinical staff in mammography procedures.
• Assist with QA/QC, MQSA protocol adherence, and equipment maintenance.
• Schedule patients and manage workflow to ensure efficient patient flow.
